Bhutanese music is basically folk songs and religious songs. Right from ancient days, the music was created not for leisure but to impart social and cultural values. The music involves instrumentation and dance.
In particular, mostly with a stringed instrument called Drangyen- the Bhutanese folks listen and plays music such as Zhungdra, Boedra, Zhey and zhem, Tsangmo, and Lozey.
